12-Volt Litheon Batteries for Long-Lasting Power
The PS20-2A gets its power from Litheon batteries, the most advanced lithium-ion batteries available today. These batteries allow more battery charges and provide longer runtime with no memory effect--meaning the batteries don't need to be empty before charging. The batteries can also be taken out of the charger before charging is complete.

Other benefits include: significantly less self discharge; electronic cell protection that guards against overheating, overload, and deep discharge; and no loss of power from the first to last screw or hole. Best of all, these batteries will fully charge in 30 minutes and will be at 85% capacity in just 15 minutes.

10+1 Clutch with Max Setting for Improved Control
The 10+1 clutch system, similar to that of standard drills/drivers, offers 10 drives and one "Max" drill setting for control and precision, while eliminating over-torque in soft-base materials. The Max setting also allows for pilot and other small bore holes. For added convenience, the 10+1 controls are conveniently located at the front of the drill, so it's a snap to make quick adjustments.
